Tahoe Candle was established
in Carnelian Bay, CA, in 1997. Craig Davies, the owner, traveled around Tahoe
and Northern California, selling handcrafted candles at art and craft fairs. In 2001, he launched a showroom and a candle-making studio in Truckee, CA,
becoming one of the country’s first make-your-own candle studios. By 2004,
Tahoe Candle grew further, opening a retail store in Truckee’s historic
downtown. This store closed in 2014 as Craig shifted his focus from retail to
wholesale candle production and dedicated more time to his family in the
mountains.

Today, Craig and his team
continue to hand-pour high-quality candles. Tahoe Candle is based at 10607 West
River St., Suite 3A, Truckee, CA. They collaborate with their sister company,
Rescued Wine.
